I suspect that you and I might not necessarily agree about the implications of sex vs. gender vs. genitals, but I do think that the most important thing is that trans individuals, just like cis ones, are trying to live, seek happiness, and avoid suffering as best they can, and that the political debates about that are an after-the-fact imposition from outside, not an innate feature of being trans.
